He has practiced exclusively in this area for over twenty-five years, and is considered one of the leading FCPA lawyers in the United States. Mr. Steinman's practice focuses primarily on anti-corruption issues in the defense and aerospace and food industries. His clients include four of the ten largest U.S. defense and aerospace companies, the largest manufacturer of commercial aircraft in the world, the largest lessor of railcars in the world, the largest generator of clean energy in the United States, and one of the leading distillers of premium spirits in the United States.
Mr. Steinman is a contributing editor of the FCPA Blog, the leading online portal for international anti-corruption developments. Between 2003 and 2007, Mr. Steinman served on the Board of Directors of TRACE International, a leading non-profit association that specializes in promoting anti-corruption compliance in international business. In 2011, he served as a delegate to the World Justice Forum in Barcelona, Spain. He is also a former vice chair of the ABA’s Aerospace & Defense Industries Committee. Mr. Steinman received his J.D. from the Harvard Law School in 1993.
